September 2, 2007- Rural County
Rural County Speedway has decided to cancel its 2007 season due to the threat of rain.
Speedway President Charles Chamberlain explained, "The Farmers Almanac says that 2007 is going to be a rainy summer. Many of our fans and competitors travel a great distance to come to Rural County Speedway. In the best interest of these fans and competitors, we have decided to cancel our 2007 season."
The 2007 season will be rescheduled at a date to be determined later.

You can't imagine how many times I've thought exactly that as I've posted cancellation after cancellation on the website 12, 24 or even 36 hours before a scheduled race.
Hey....but they said they'll have a rain date...WHOO HOO!!
Thanks for passing the info along, Bill.
It's really too bad. I had already purchased by season tickets.
Travis B
hey bill read up on your J Mayfield post...clown
There's a good point.
If a fan buys a season pass at OPS, and races are canceled and not rescheduled, does he get a refund of any kind?
Duke,
Travis was kidding.
The season pass is discounted so they do not get a refund.
whats the date the ISMA supers will race at next year?
No plans for the Supers next year.
